ၿမိဳ႕မကို ခ်စ္ၾကတဲ့သူတိုင္းေျပာၾကတဲ့ စကားေလးတစ္ခြန္းပါ။ “ သႀကၤန္ေရာက္ရင္ ၿမိဳ႕မကို သတိရတယ္ ” တဲ့။ ဒါဆိုရင္ က်ဳပ္တို႔ၿမိဳ႕မက သႀကၤန္မင္းသားႀကီးေပါ့။ ဒီလိုေတာ့လည္း မဟုတ္ေသးဘူးထင္ပါတယ္။ ၿမိဳ႕မဆိုတာ... သႀကၤန္နဲ႔အတူေတာက္ပေလ့ရွိတာ မွန္ေပမယ့္ ဆရာၿငိမ္းက သႀကၤန္သီခ်င္းတစ္မ်ုဳိးတည္း ေရးခဲ့တာမွ မဟုတ္ဘဲ။

It's second of April now. Myanmar new year eve will be held after two weeks. How bad there is absence of Ko Zaw Wann, the Prince of Thingyan. Neither Hip hop nor rock can make Thingyan meaningful but Myo Ma. Sometimes, I thinks that if Saya Nyaine still alive nowadays. He will try his best for our culture not to be overwhelmed by modern music. He used orchestral instruments but he can make them to be accepted by Myanmar folks. How admirable he is! Now I got contact with Myo Ma again.

Oh! I am sorry. I forgot to introduce myself first. I am Han Kyi. To tell you the truth, I am not a native of Mandalay. I lived there for 5 years while I was at a certain Institute of Mandalay. But, Mandalay fascinated me. Mandalay and Myo Ma penetrated and resided in the deepest of my heart.Both of them never get out of there, and I am happy to retain them there. Sometimes, I am so sad…
